When I started my career as a lawyer in finance, I believed that hard work, putting in the hours, and delivering at a high standard were the keys to advancing. While this worked for a while, the path forward became unclear as I reached higher levels of seniority, and leadership felt lonely. I eventually learned that career progression isn’t always linear and that true fulfilment comes from creating a path that aligns with your own values. Now, I get to combine two passions: working toward a sustainable future at Susten, a renewable energy investment firm, and coaching women to advance their careers.
